Portumna Castle is a Heritage Ireland site on the shore of Lough Derg. The tea room is in the restored coach house beside the walled kitchen gardens, near the old monastery ruin.

CaToCa Fine Food runs the room. The food is home-baked and made with local artisan ingredients, with cakes, salads, quiche, soup, sandwiches and afternoon tea, and vegan and gluten-free options catered for. The walled kitchen garden supplies the tea rooms, and the apple juice is cold-pressed from heritage trees.
